My work is influenced by the post-impressionists, the Canadian Group of Seven and American Abstract Expressionists.  My style is impasto, vibrant and somewhat abstracted.  I paint my place in my world as it happens in my life.  I feel deeply for the passage of time lost and I am drawn to the energy and beauty that still shines through decay.  I have worked in several mediums: oil, acrylic, watercolor and mixed.  Currently I am exploring scale and movement.
